In a novel way to promote their upcoming film Kites, Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori are going to shoot an ad together for a clothes brand that Hrithik endorses.

With just over a month to go for the release of the Anurag Basu-directed film, Barbara is due to arrive in Mumbai soon. And we hear the first thing she’ll do upon her arrival is fly to Maldives with Hrithik to shoot the commercial on the sunny, sandy beaches of the beautiful island country.

The buzz is that it was Hrithik who suggested the clothes brand (of which he’s ambassador) to rope in Barbara for the television commercial as doing so will not just help promote the film better but benefit the clothes brand from the popularity of Kites and particularly from the much-talked-about chemistry between Hrithik and the Mexican hottie.

Reports say when Hrithik gave the ad’s idea to Barbara she was game.

Well, the chemistry is surely there.
