In India, Bollywood is a way of life, and cricket a religion. So, when both come together, there is no one who is not interested. If you think we were going to speak about the IPL all over again, you are wrong. The connection we are speaking about goes deeper and is of the ‘direct dil se' type. A look at the most dashing cricketers who have courted Bollywood stars.

1. Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh: Deepika Padukone, Kim Sharma, Preity Zinta, Neha Dhupia, Anchal Kumar, Akshara Gowda, Ameesha Patel...
Yuvi is an all rounder no doubt. On the field and off it too. He was seen with the beautiful Kim Sharma. The papparazi did over time and proclaimed them an item. It sure looked like a perfect love story for a long four years. Then, from somewhere out of the blue we read that it was Deepika Padukone he was seeing. During the IPL season 2, we saw Preity Zinta along with this dashing young King' X1 skipper. Then came a special invite to Ameesha Patel for the World Cup finals and a dinner bash where he had Neha Dhupia on his arm. We heard he was dating Anchal Kumar and then again we heard about an Akshara Gowda. No, we don't believe in the rumours.

2. Shanthakumaran Sreesanth

Sreesanth is controversy’s favourite child. His has a better average of hitting the headlines than his average bowling figures. Was he seeing Priyanka Chopra during one of the advertisement campaigns they did together? Or was it just another no ball from Sreesanth? We don’t know for sure. Sreesanth and Minissha Lamba strongly denied that they were not spending 'quality time' together during IIFA awards gala at Macau. Errr Shahzan Padamsee? Sree, is Shriya Saran history then? or is it Riya Sen?

3.Zaheer Khan

Unlike his collegeues, Zaheer Khan has been linked up to just one actress. Isha Sharvani. Isha had made her debut in ‘Kisna’ but her acting career was not going anywhere when she met Zaheer who totally bowled her over. A break up and reuion in 2011, and now we hear they are going to tie the knot.

4. Sourav Chandidas Ganguly

Even though the Prince of Kolkata wanted to keep his affair with Nagma under the wraps, it was one of the hottest affairs to have hit the headlines. Since he was married during that time, this flamboyant ex-skipper maintained the strict ‘no comments’ stand. And the affair died a natural death, or so we believe.

5. Mohammad Azharuddin

Ex-Indian skipper Mohammed Azzarudin hit the headlines when he got married to Sangeeta Bijlani. This is his second marriage, after he divorced his first wife Naureen, with whom he had two sons, Asad and Ayaz.

6. Kapil Dev Ramlal Nikhanj

Kapil Dev was one person Sarika fell for. The two were a pair for quite some time before Sarika married Kamal Hassan and Kapil Dev married Romi Bhatia.

What Is Love?

What is love? I heard you ask,
A pointed question,
A daunting task,
A challenge for a weary mind,
To see what gems that I may find.

What is love? My mind did say,
A caring touch?
A gentle way?
It's both of these, but so much more,
Numerous attributes, to explore.

What is love? I searched my soul,
A loving glance?
A hand to hold?
It is these things, but just one part,
Of the beauty that lies within the heart.

What is love? I asked my heart,
It seemed the best place,
Where I should start.
Is it fireworks, comets, or astral displays,
Which cause us to feel, so deeply this way?

"This is love," my heart replied,
"Listen closely to me,
And then you will see.
Love is not loud, it's a quiet sensation,
Not easily confused with infatuation."

"The beauty of love," it continued to tell,
"Is eternal endurance,
The absence of hell.
Unparalleled strength, in spite of adversity,
Protecting you with it's cloak of security."

"The gift of love," it sermonized on,
"Provides you with peace,
Like a golden-green morn.
It lives and breathes, for it is alive,
Where all your hopes and dreams reside."

What is love? You'll be glad to know,
Is the chance for two hearts,
To share and to grow.
Trust, compassion, and a listening ear,
Will dispel all your doubts, cast out all your fears.

What is love? It's simple you see,
It's essential as air,
For our souls to breathe.
It replenishes your faith, and self- esteem,
Allowing you to fulfill, all of your dreams.

When is it love? Your heart will know,
What you should do,
And where you should go.
It will guide your path, straight and true,
Be prepared for love, when it comes calling for you.
