Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan fans get another reason to rejoice. Shahrukh Khan must have heaved a big sigh of relief as his ‘home sweet home’ Mannat got clearance from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), sources confirmed.

Shahrukh Khan’s house Mannat needed clearance from the civic body as BMC alleged that the Bollywood star had violated the norms of coastal Regulation Zone in the construction of the place where he lives.

Mannat, which is situated at the seashore in the suburban Bandra in Mumbai and had been declared an old heritage building, got into problems after Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority asked Shahrukh Khan to explain the violations committed by him during the construction of his Bungalow. The Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority had even asked the BMC to hold an inquiry in this regard.

Now it seems that BMC has not found any fault in the construction of Shahrukh Khan’s famous Bungalow and Shahrukh needn’t unnecessarily face any problem due to this.

Shahrukh's 'Mannat' is on prime property; it is on Bandstand and has a sea facing view. Earlier before the actor purchased the bungalow, many films like Tezaab etc were shot in it. Unfortunately many films which were shot here did not release and hence it has even been labeled a jinxed home in the past. But now with SRK and his family living in it, it has become a usual hot spot for tourists as well as locals as they are often spotted waiting for a glimpse of the actor.
