Despite setting tongues wagging with the bold poster act and sleazy nude scenes, Hate Story director Vivek Agnihotri seems to be having a tough time. Making a film in erotic thriller genre seems to have not gone down too well with the Censor Board and they’ve asked the director to chop a few scenes and mute a few sexual expletives from the promo.

And, if Censor has its way then the erotic thriller will soon become a mushy romantic film and this has quite miffed the director. Talking to a daily, Vivek said, “The censor board has old-fashioned people and we have no choice but to live with the norms. We are told that we have to mute certain words. We have to cut a few things here and there.”

The uncensored promo of the film has already gone viral on the internet and has grabbed many eyeballs. The promo shows Paoli Dam mouthing abuses and also raising the temperature with her hot love-making scenes.
