बरसना, कब गुजर जाना खूब जानती हैं

कभी खामोशी का तराना तो कभी गर्जन
सितम के संग इश्क निभाना जानती हैं

प्यास बुझ जाए बदलियों को गंवारा नहीं
सावन का हर अंदाज़ गुनगुनाना जानती हैं

कभी फुरसत में देखूं बदलियॉ या तुम हो
हसरतें क्यों अब बहक जाना चाहती हैं

उन फुहारों की सिहरन ऊभरती रहती है
मस्तियॉ खिलखिलाकर भींग जाना चाहती है

चली आओ किसी तरह छू लो मुझे अब
ख्वाहिशें धुलकर निखरना चाहती हैं.

Badliyan bhi adaayein aapki pehchanti hain
Barsanaa, kab gujar jana khoob janti hain

Kabhi khamoshi ka tarana to kabhi garjan
Sitam ke sang ishq nibhana janti hain

Pyas bujh jaye badliyon ko ganwara nahin
Sawan ka her andaz gungunana janti hain

Kabhi fursat me dekhoon badliyan ya tum ho
Hasratein kyon ab bahak jana chahti hain

Un phuharon ki siharan ubharti rahti hai
Mastiyan khilkhilakr bhing jana chahti hain

Chali aao kisi tarah chchoo lo mujhe ab
Khwahishein dhulkar nikhrna chahti hain.

दिखाना चाहती नहीं हैं इस ज़माने को
प्यार को लहरों सा अब तो छलकाईए

यह खिलना और बहकना है पल भर
छुप जाएंगो मिलकर बाहों में भर-भर
बहुत हो चुका अब और ना आजमाईए
मेरी दुनिया है सूनी आकर तो गुनगुनाईए.

Yeh khilna aur bahkana hai pal bhar
Chchup jayeinge milkar baahon me bhar-bhar
bahut ho chuka ab aur na aajmayiye
Meri duniya hai suni aakar to gungunayiye.

Dukh-dard me lipate par hansate

Aaj yahan kal wahan chal diye
