Even before its release comes the news that Producer John has another project in mind, this time Aditya Bhattacharya’s Kala Ghoda which will be under the banner of JA Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Asin wants to focus only on commercial movies

0

After having ruled the South Indian film industry for the last few years, Asin got a grand entry into Bollywood with Aamir Khan's "Ghajini". After a scintillating debut opposite Aamir Khan in Ghajini, Asin is being hailed as the next big import from Kollywood into Bollywood, inviting comparisons with the legendary Sridevi. And in her three years in the industry, she has already featured with actors like Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn. In Housefull 2, she will be seen with Akshay Kumar.

"Right now I am concentrating on commercial space. If in commercial space I get a good character, then I will cope up with that. But not deviating from commercial cinema because it reaches out to a larger audience," Asin told IANS.

"I want to stay in the commercial space...within that space if I get a fleshy character. I would love to do it," added the 26-year-old.

Her first Hindi film, Ghajini was a huge commercial success of 2008. However, her next release "London Dreams" with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn bombed at the box office. In 2010 came "Ready" in which she once again teamed up with Salman and it was huge hit.

Now Kerala born beautiful Asin is looking forward to Sajid Khan's " Housefull 2", her fourth Hindi film, coming out April 5.

Refuting reports that she is extra choosy, Asin said: "I am not the one who is in a hurry to do a lot of things. I think I have my own taste something that I am comfortable with.

"I do things in my own way and not under pressure. I have been accused to be extra choosy and I don't take it into consideration."

Mallika should act with a snake: Emraan Hashmi

0

They may have set the screen on fire with their smoldering chemistry in Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Murder’ in 2004, but they have been at loggerheads since. The war of words between the two has been the talk of the town with mutual friends having played peacemakers in the past. But the animosity is not expected to die down any soon, it seems so because Emraan has launched a brand new update in their rivalry recently.

It should be put to light that when the movie had become a Box Office hit, Mallika had quoted that all the credit for the success of the movie should be hers. This statement did not go down well with the lead actor of the movie, Emraan Hashmi and he claimed that Mallika was not a ‘good kisser’. Hearing this, Mallika had said that she would rather kiss a snake than Emraan. And very recently, Emraan reportedly updated the chapter by saying that Mallika should act with a snake only in the sequel to her 2010 dud ‘Hisss’.

Well, it certainly seems like there is no love lost between the once on-screen lovers. Now, we await the reply of Mallika Sherawat on this episode.

Sonakshi looking forward to join ‘Dabangg 2′

The shooting for one of Bollywood’s most awaited films – the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Dabangg – is finally underway. The movie features Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, and Prakash Raj in the leads. Salman’s brother and producer of ‘Dabangg’, Arbaaz Khan is making his directorial debut with 'Dabangg 2'.

Sonakshi Sinha is looking forward to working with Salman Khan again. Sonakshi Sinha who plays the female lead in Dabangg 2, will join the crew on March 18th.

Actress Sonakshi Sinha says she is looking forward to join the star-cast of “Dabangg 2″ and hopes that the film does better than the first part.

"Dabangg 2" shoot starts today (Friday). I join them on the 18th… Can’t wait to get back to where it all started! All the best to Arbaaz Khan, Salman Khan and the entire team! Abhi tak sabko nehlaya tha, chalo ab sabko dho daale ;) dabangg ho (sic),” she tweeted.

Right now Sonakshi Sinha is on cloud nine and is juggling with five lovely projects on hand. At the moment the actor is running between two shoots, Lootera and Rowdy Rathore. Suddenly from nowhere the actor is now spotted in most filmy locations for the shoot. Daughter of the veteran star Shatrugna Sinha is today busier than her father in those days. Sonakshi with her father’s backing must realize that it is difficult to reach the peaks and to survive there is much difficult, only talents will aid you.

The actor’s films Joker and Son of Sardar seems to have entered the talkie phase. With dubbing also taking the toll on the actor, only a well planned schedule will help her sustain pressure. Also shortly on the heels is the sequel to her hit, the film is Dabangg 2, with Sallu bhai. All seems to be great for the Sinha starlet.

Imran Khan replaces Shahid Kapoor in ‘OUATIM 2′

Bollywood actor Imran Khan who is riding high after a string of consecutive hits like Delhi Belly, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu has reportedly turn baddie for the sequel of the 2010 film “Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai”.

He will play a don in parallel lead with Akshay Kumar. The movie was to feature Shahid Kapoor earlier but now Imran has been finalised for it. Imran Khan will make his first foray into a franchise product with the mammoth sequel.

Akshay Kumar will play Dawood Ibrahim’s part and Imran Khan has been asked to play Chhota Rajan, Dawood’s right hand man turned arch rival in the flick. Kareena Kapoor is playing female lead in this movie.

“Talks were on with Shahid but we have decided on Imran now. Imran loved the script, and we are very gung-ho about this project. The audience will get to see a different Imran,” Girish Johar, head of acquisition and distribution, Balaji Motion Pictures, told IANS.

It is also heard that it is Kareena Kapoor who has recommended Imy’s name for the movie. According to an insider associated with the film, "Kareena feels that Imran would bring novelty to the character inspired by Rajan. More so because he has played strong romantic roles in most of his films."

Akshay is currently working out to get the rugged look required for him to play Dawood. Imran Khan too will require to work on his Chhota Rajan avatar,” added the source.

The project will be directed by Milan Luthria, who is basking in the success of “The Dirty Picture”.

The prequel - “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai” - had Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi together on screen. Their mentor-turned-rival chemistry as Sultan Mirza and Shoaib, respectively, was appreciated.

Producers are hoping that the Akshay-Imran pairing works wonders for the sequel too.
