Former Miss World and Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra is on a roll these days. Priyanka Chopra, who is doing fairly well in showbiz, says it is very important to be on the top but at the same time, feels it is difficult to say who is No.1 or No.2.

“It is very important to be No 1. Since school days one wants to be No 1. In this competitive world, you have to be No 1- whether in school or anywhere else. That doesn’t mean you stamp on people’s faces,” said Priyanka, the brand ambassador of Nikon, during the unveiling of a new camera range.

“But it is impossible to decide who is No.1 or No.2. Nobody can decide who is No 1. An actor tends to do three to four films a year and all that films cannot be a hit. We make so many films in a year,” she added the former Miss World.

Asked who according to her is very photogenic, the 29-year-old said: “You have to be photogenic if you want to be an actor. I am photogenic. Rekhaji is very photogenic. Dharmendarji with the kind of features he has, he is always smiling. Among my contemporaries, Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai and Deepika Padukone are very photogenic.”

Priyanka Chopra is surely riding high on a success wave these days. After back-to-back hits like 'Don 2' and 'Agneepath', Priyanka has another achievement to her credit now.

Priyanka Chopra has pipped stars like Vidya Balan, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone for India's Glam Diva title. The title was given as part of Big CBS Love's show "India's Glam Diva".

Priyanka was crowned by her fan Siddhi Singh, a Mumbai-based girl. The actress was named the winner on the basis of public voting.

On the finale episode, Priyanka will be seen sharing her ambitions and desires as an actress and a woman.

The actress has been successful with her movie choices and hasn't given the critics much to complain about. Right from her character in "Andaaz", for which she won the Filmfare Award for best female debut in 2002 to "Fashion" for which she recieved the National award for best actress, she has enthralled the audience in her a decade long career.

Jury member and choreographer Shiamak Davar said: "She wants to be number one; she wants to conquer the world; she wants to make it not only in India but globally - which is great."

Priyanka is now also utilising her melodius voice to launch a music album in the US.

The finale episode of "India's Glam Diva" will go on air Sunday.

Ex-lovers Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor have buried the hatchet and have been cast opposite each other in Karan Johar's new production 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' set to be directed by Ayan Mukherjee who last directed the much loved film ‘Wake Up Sid’.

Now the latest buzz is that Deepika who is very happy to be reunited with Ranbir in this movie will be shooting some love making scenes with him. Deepika and Ranbir, who dated each other for over a year before heading for splitsville in 2009, were last seen in 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' in 2008, and their crackling chemistry was there for all to see.

The rumours were rife that the duo will be seen lip-locking in the film. But that doesn't seems the end of it as the couple will also be shooting for some steamy, hot scenes for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

A source said that both actors are well aware of the intimate scenes they are required to do, and are mentally prepared. It is quite difficult for ex-lovers to re-develop a physical proximity after they reunite. But, being true professionals, Ranbir and Dippy seems quite cool about getting cozy for the sake of their film.

Director Ayan is also said to be making msjor off-screen efforts to ensure that their on-screen chemistry is applauded. Neither Deepika and Ranbir have any qualms about this physical proximity but could all their time spent together on the sets coupled with these love scenes rekindle their past romance

Kalki Koechlin has been roped in for Ayaan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani> the film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.

“Yes, I have signed for Ayaan’s ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ and I am leaving for the shoot tomorrow,” she confirmed.

The film is produced under Dharma Productions and will be Ayaan’s second film as a director, the first being ‘Wake Up Sid’..

A part of the film will be shot in Manali and is set to go on floors March 18.

As per reports, Pritam will be composing music for “Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani”.

Madhavan is not confirmed for ‘Vettai’ remake

UTV Motion Pictures who are remaking their superhit Tamil film ‘Vettai‘ starring Arya and Madhavan, have signed actor Shahid Kapoor to play the role which Arya essayed in the original film.

However, their search for the second lead actor is still going on. There were some rumors doing around of R.Madhavan being signed on to reprise his role in the Hindi remake. But the actor has denied any confirmation related to the film.

He said, “It’s not yet confirmed whether or not I will be a part of it due to my injury, I have to go for treatment for at least another five months!”

There are also some reports that suggests actresses Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha will play the female leads in the film, but nothing is confirmed by now.

‘Veettai’ has been directed by N.Linguswany and he will make his directorial debut in Hindi cinema with it’s Hindi remake. The film is expected to go on floors in mid-April and the official announcement of crew and cast may be made on the 50th day it’s release.

Some days ago we woke up to the buzz about Saif Ali Khan hunting for his second item number for Agent Vinod. While at it he requested help from dear friend Pritam, who obliged. And that’s how ‘Pyaar ki pungi’ found its place in Agent Vinod.

Birdies reveal that the song was originally created for Dharma Production’s upcoming movie, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and was supposed to be shot with Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. But that didn’t happen. Is Ranbir and Deepika’s chemistry, or the lack of it, to blame for this one? We’re not sure. All we can say is that Dharma’s loss is Saif’s gain. Now the song, with all its tapori elements intact, features Lisa Haydon’s sister Mallika, who grooves with Saif Ali Khan, who calls it his “first item number”. And guess what – we like it! What about you, Bollywoodlifers?
