Dharmesh Darshan to be back soon!
The man responsible for Akshay Kumar's image makeover (DHADKAN), and also the director of Aamir Khan's biggest commercial hit RAJA HINDUSTANI (before GHAJINI and 3 IDIOTS) is none other than Dharmesh Darshan, and needs no introduction to those who love traditional Bollywood. But he has been away for a while, but not for long!
When we caught up with the director earlier this week, he gave us the good news, "Well, it's been a long gap (last major releases AAP KI KHATIR - 2006), and yes, I am all set to direct a new film." When asked him the title of the film he said, "I will not disclose the title of the film as yet." When we queried further about the theme or genre of his new project, Dharmesh said after a brief pause, "All my films have a lot of romance, songs, dances, beautiful faces, good acting and pristine natural beauty and surroundings as shooting locales, and this one too will be no different."

DHARMESH DARSHAN
Well, this is indeed good news for all his die-hard fans who have waited for a long time. And for those who are unaware, the Darshans (Dharmesh and Suneil) have a huge fan following in the Hindi speaking belt, especially in smaller center of North, East and Central India.

When Aamir Khan inked the GHAJINI tattoo or when Salman Khan flexed his triceps in BODYGUARD nobody in their wildest dreams would have thought that such manly gestures could be used in an item song.
But sexy siren Veena Malik did it and made it look hot in her item number 'Channo' from the film GALI GALI CHOR HAI.

Mani Ratnam to salvage Sonam Kapoor’s career?

It is no surprise that Sonam Kapoor, daughter of Anil Kapoor who started out doing films in the south, is inundated with film offers from the same industry. But for a long time the Mausam babe kept turning it down. Rumour has it that Ghajini director AR Murugadoss was keen to cast her sometime back. Anyway, Sonam has finally bitten the bait of south films. Maverick director Mani Ratnam has cast her in his forthcoming film, tentatively titled Pookadai. Initially, the Kapoor babe was hesitant to be a part of the Tamil film as it starred a newcomer – popular actor Karthik’s son Gautham – as the leading man. But according to sources, Sonam’s dad, who played the lead role in Ratnam’s first film Pallavi Anupallavi convinced his baby to do it. Daddy’s darling daughter couldn’t disobey his command. And we are glad she didn’t.
At this point, Sonam has firmly entrenched her name as a dazzler every time she struts in those stylish garbs on the red carpet, but is yet to make a mark as an actor. So, who better than Mani Ratnam to help her do it? Remember Abhishek Bachchan, who was once widely criticised for his mediocre acting skills, received his first critical acclaim for Mani sir’s Guru? Maybe that’s what Anil had in mind when he pushed his child to say ‘yes’ to the project. Let’s hope the father’s wish comes true and Sonam dazzles on the big screen too!
Kangna Ranaut: ‘I’m dating an invisible man
05 months ago
Kangna Ranaut's love life is back in the news. On Tuesday, a report raised some suspicion about her alleged 'mysterious' boyfriend, UK-based doctor Nicholas Lafferty. It was also suggested that she hasn't introduced him to anyone, including her closest friends.
But Kangna isn't amused. "Yes, he is an invisible man. I'm dating an invisible person. And that's my clarification," says the miffed actor. So who is 'Nicholas Lafferty'? "Nicholas is the invisible man. Why can't he be invisible? It's good for me because he won't argue or fight."
Apparently, Kangna hinted on a TV show that Nicholas is a doctor/scientist, and she has known him for a yearand-half. Also, she met him in India through a common friend. Ask Kangna about it and she laughs: "I don't remember anything. I am suffering from short-term memory loss, much like Aamir Khan did in Ghajini (2008)."
Ask the actor again if she is dating Nicholas and she says: "Yes, I am dating a very, very mysterious man, and he gets invisible sometimes." So, does that mean she plans to marry soon? "So that I can have invisible children?" she responds with a laugh. "I am too young to get married, regardless of whether he is visible or invisible. Someday, I have to. But I'm just 24 right now. By 28 or 29, I will tie the knot, no matter whom I get married to."
To avoid reading unpleasant media reports, Kangna -who is busy with Hrithik Roshan-starrer Krrish 2, Priyadarshan's Tezzz, Tanu Weds Manu sequel and Dedh Ishqiya -says she doesn't subscribe to newspapers at home. "I have banned them. Either you can read them, get bothered and explain things to others, or just do your work. How does it matter if a section of the media doesn't like you?" says the actor, who refuses to take such stories seriously. "Let them write whatever they want. It's n going to change anything i my life. Even gossip has to have a story. Journalists need to get more creative with their ideas." 'Mystery man', for a boyfriend, is creative enough, coming from the actor herself.

Now, Ranveer too has six packs!

Actor Ranveer Singh is the latest to pack brigade in Bollywood. The Band Baaja Baaraat (2010) famed actor has toned himself with six-pack abs for his next release Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, where he has been paired opposite actor Anushka Sharma.
According to a source from production house, Yash Raj Films, the 26year-old actor went on a strict 48-hour diet regime and stayed hungry for nearly two days to get the perfect look. In the past, Shah Rukh Khan flaunted his six packs in Om Shanti Om (2007), Aamir Khan did it for Ghajini (2008), Saif Ali Khan got into shape for Agent Vinod (slated to release next year) while Salman Khan and John Abraham are known to be in perfect shape, always.
Salman flaunted his six packs in Bodyguard while John donned a hulk look in his last release, Force. In Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, not just Ranveer but Anushka too was asked to look her fittest best. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film is set to release on December 9.

Sonakshi Sinha irritated with Ranveer Singh!!

Remember, there was one time when Sonakshi Sinha wanted to date Ranveer Singh? She had even made a confession about the same on KJO’s chat show. But now, all of a sudden, the actress seems to be very upset of annoyed with Ranveer.
The reason Jr shotgun is annoyed with the Band Baaja Barat actor is his over friendly behavior with the lady. Ms Sinha also finds him irritating these days.
It is heard that Sonakshi Sinha desperately wanted to work with Ranveer and so, despite having a tight schedule, she managed to give dates for the film, which is being directed by Udaan fame director Vikramaditya Motwane. The untitled film is a love story and will be jointly produced by Anurag Kashyap, Ghajini producer Madhu Mantena, and former UTV executive Vikas Behl.
Now, our only worry is that, what’s going to be the fate of the film, the duo’s chemistry level etc etc, if this tension continues between the two.
Can Asin Full Fill Her Dream

Asin who tried to establish her career in Bollywood is left with no offers now. Though she acted in blockbusters like Ghajini opposite Aamir Khan and Ready with Salman Khan she has not bagged an exciting offer. Disappointed by this development she is planning to return Southern film industry. Asin also expressed her dream to work with Super Star Rajinikanth and looks like its highly impossible at this point of time. Rajini is currently recuperating from illness. However, there are chances that she may bag at least two big projects down south.
Aamir Khan, the Anna Hazare in Bollywood???

Anna Hazare and his message of anti-corruption has managed to plant ideas into the minds of Bollywood producers.
Buzz has it that while director Prakash Jha has already planned to make a movie with Amitabh Bachchan playing Hazare, well-known producer Madhu Mantena (who produced Ghajini) has purchased the rights of an old Telugu film that revolves around the anti-corruption theme.
Titled Tagore, the film starred Chiranjeevi as an anti-corruption crusader who starts a vigilante organisation called Anti-Corruption Force.
When contacted, Mantena said he is in the process of acquiring the rights for the film. “I love the title and I love the message of the film. I think it’s far more relevant today than it was when it was made seven years ago.”
Interestingly, Tagore itself is the remake of a 2002 Tamil film called Ramanna. AR Murugadoss, who directed Ghajini for Mantena, had also written Tagore.
According to sources, Mantena wants to cast Aamir Khan in the role of the anti-corruption crusader. While not denying this bit of news, Mantena refused to talk about the subject. He said, “I can’t talk about the casting. It’s too early.”
Aamir Khan to build Ghajini body for Dhoom 3?
Aamir Khan, the ever punctilious actor, has already started preparing for his next big role: that of a villain in Dhoom 3.
It goes without saying that when Aamir Khan puts his mind on something, everything else takes a backseat. Now that he’s signed on to play the bad guy in the third instalment of Dhoom franchise, Aamir has already begun working on the physical aspect of his role.
For instance, while holidaying with wife Kiran Rao in Bali, Aamir made sure to work out regularly. Now, he continues the regimen in Mumbai.
A source says: “Aamir is known to change his look from film to film and ‘Dhoom 3’ will have him in a new look altogether. He’s already started working on it.”
Buzz is that Aamir might build the eight pack abs, just like he did for his role in Ghajini. That preparation took about a year. For Dhoom 3 too Aamir has time on his hands to develop the physique he wants for his character.
Ajay Devgn: My films don’t bore people
Ajay Devgn is all set to enter the 100 crores club. His SINGHAM is now nearing the 100 crores mark just in India, hence bringing him neck to neck with only two other men who have achieved this feat so far - Aamir Khan and Salman Khan.

Ask Ajay about the raaz behind good success rate of his films and he says, "It's as simple as that. If you try to teach people something by showing them films, they will obviously get bored. They are not spending 150 bucks to hear your lecture. Better give them some entertainment. They should think ki main iski jagah hoon, main villain ko maar sakta hoon, ya phir main iske saath hans sakta hoon. They should feel good and that's exactly what I also do by not boring them," says Ajay.
He has all the right reasons to say that. After all every Hindi film which has crossed the 100 crores mark in the last few years has been a quintessential entertainer, whether it is 3 IDIOTS, DABANGG, READY, GHAJINI or GOLMAAL 3. While Aamir has ruled the roost in a couple of them, Salman has pitched in with two of his films as well. As for GOLMAAL 3, it again featured Ajay though it was a multistarrer. However SINGHAM is one film which he can entirely call as his own.
