Indian film industry has no permanent friendships, and it seems that every friendship happens for a reason. Recently, media has been abuzz with the alleged news of Priyanka-Shah Rukh’s ‘good friends’ status, and that this had miffed a lot of friends of SRK’s since he is a much-married guy. Priyanka, from the look of it, seems to be in a dire need of friends in Bollywood. After the news of Priyanka’s cordial meeting with Salman Khan at Ambani’s part spread all across the internet, it is reported that also Priyanka bonded with Aamir Khan over a cup of tea at the latter’s upcoming TV show’s sets.

It is already known that the people close to Shah Rukh Khan’s family had almost boycotted Priyanka when the rumours of her link-up with the superstar emerged. Filmmaker Karan Johar had also reportedly struck off Priyanka’s name from the guest list of this season’s ‘Koffee with Karan’. Hence, the actress seems to be in a desperate need of friends in the film fraternity. And her endeavours have made her go find company in Shah Rukh’s foe, Salman Khan, and now Aamir Khan.

Well, there might just be another reason why Priyanka might be striving for new bonds, she is yet to work with the ‘Perfectionist’ Khan. We will just wait to see what her exact motivation is.

Shahrukh and Sanjay to share screen in KJO film

The latest buzz doing rounds in Bollywood circles is that Director Karan Malhotra who won many an accolade for his direction in his debut film Agneepath earlier this year, is planning to cast Shahrukh and Sanjay together in a film.

Contrary to reports that Karan Malhotra is making sequel to "Agneepath", he is ready with fresh subject and wants to cast none other than Dharma Productions' favorite Shahrukh Khan. He wants to cast Sanjay Dutt along with SRK for this film who starred in his debut film as Kaancha.

This will be first time that Sanjay Dutt will share screen space with SRK as except guest appearance in "Om Shanti Om" they never appeared together on silver screen

Film is said to be an action drama and should go on floor early next year. There were reports that SRK is no more favorite star of Dharma Productions but Karan Johar rubbishes all that. Shahrukh will be starring in two upcoming projects of Dharma and these will be announced shortly. One will be directed by Karan Malhotra and other one will be helmed by Karan Johar himself.

There are some rumors that suggest that the film will be a remake of Bollywood blockbuster. However, Karan Malhotra has made it clear that the film will be an original one.

Shahrukh and Sajnay known to be good friends and Shahrukh was the special guest at the Agneepath success bash thrown by Dutt earlier this year. It was in that party that the scuffle with Shirish Kunder took place.

Viewers can be highly expectant of another Bollywood bonanza from the Dharma camp as Khan and Dutt as either do not come without their own share of fans.

Who will not agree that pleasing Karan Johar is no easy thing especially when it comes to work. The star producer is so particular about small things that matching up to his expectations is no cake walk by any stretch of imagination.

Karan Johar chooses his actors carefully. If a star has done him a good turn, he makes sure that he is repaid in every possible way. Sanjay Dutt, it seems, has become quite a favourite with KJo after his stellar performance as Kancha Cheena in ‘Agneepath’, 2012’s first big hit. Sanjay Dutt's stupendous performance as Kancha cheena has earned him standing ovation and filmmaker Karan Johar was very much impressed with his acting.

Now, Sanjay has been offered the role of an investigative cop in Dharma Productions’ next film to be directed by Rensil D’Silva who earlier made ‘Kurbaan’. Incidentally, Anil Kapoor had been signed on to play this role.

According to reports, Sanjay heard the script last week and agreed to do it not only because he liked his role but also because he couldn’t say no to Karan. Anil, sources say, had been roped but he opted out because he felt it was a repetitive role. He is playing a policeman in Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Shootout at Wadala’. The buzz though is that the actor found his role wasn’t substantial enough, especially when compared to Emraan Hashmi's in the film which is about a cop hunting down Emraan and his gang.

Rensil D'Silva, who urgently needed a 40-plus superstar, personally requested KJo to step in and bail him out of the tight spot. That’s when Karan approached Dutt, who immediately said yes.

The latest buzz in tinsel town has it that film maestro Karan Johar has been considering Bollywood's Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan, and the new-age Kancha Cheena aka Sanjay Dutt, to share the big screen for an upcoming production. Rumor has it Karan Malhotra, the helmer of 2012 blockbuster Agneepath, will be taking charge of the much talked about project.

The movie is said to belong to the action flick genre with roles of both stars being specifically written keeping them in mind. Although, when talks of Malhotra piloting another action drama with Dutt involved in the cast list broke out, many speculations arose on the repetition of Agneepath. However, the director has already cleaned his slate by stating that the movie is being made with a fresh and most importantly, an original script.

Viewers can be highly expectant of another Bollywood bonanza from the Dharma camp as Khan and Dutt as either do not come without their own share of fans. Earlier, the two stars were seen shaking a leg in 2007, during Om Shanti Om's super-hit title track.

RGV takes indirect dig at Shahrukh and his kids

Controversy’s favourite child, filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma is in news again. We just don’t know what will happen to Ram Gopal Varma in near future if he keeps taking digs at the biggies in town this way!

Every time he keeps taking Panga with one or the other celeb around. His fight with Karan Johar is known to all, and of lately, he was even seen annoying Amitabh Bachchan with his rather sarcastic tweets about the legendary actor on the social networking sites.
Now the RGV’s current target is the actor Shahrukh Khan.

Everyone has known SRK’s dedicated and love towards his kids Aaryan and Suhana.Despite being the tinsel town’s actor or the Baadshah, Shahrukh is very friendly and a nice father.

But SRK’s this fatherly mindset hasn’t gone well with RGV. RGV not directly insulted SRK on twitter. He tweeted, “If all kids are so innocent nd have lovely hearts how come most of them grow up to become bastards?” RGV said this on twitter after SRK published, “Missing my lil boy and girl….they’ve such small beautiful hands….and such big lovely hearts (sic).”

One wonders if it’s RGV who’s behaving so ignorantly or some prankster is using his name to target the celebs. But we are sure of one thing that after reading this post Shahrukh would surely not be pleased!

Boney Kapoor’s ex-wife Mona passes away

Boney Kapoor’s ex-wife and Arjun’s mother Mona Kapoor passed away in Mumbai today. Mona was diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment for past few months.

Mona’s health deteriorated recently and had to be hospitalised. Ajrun is working hard on his debut film Ishaqzaade and Mona had a desire to see his son on the big screen, but due to her health, the wish remains unfulfilled. However, she had seen few scenes of her son’s performance during the shooting of the film.

Arjun and his sister were taking care of their mother during her last days, while Boney Kapoor too involved himself and kept a check on Mona’s health.

However, Bollywood is shocked and aghast at the untimely death of Mona at the age of 48. Since the news of her death broke out, Twitter is buzz with celebs putting forth their condolences.

Filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted, "Mona kapoor was one of the most gracious,dignified and loving human beings i knew...she felt only positivity for one and all...RIP ma'm...(sic)".

Actress Dia Mirza wrote, "Mona Kapoor leaves a legacy of graciousness and warmth that she gave in abundance to all...heart broken that she has moved on.RIP Mona Aunty (sic)"

Filmmaker Karan Johar seems to be at his expressive best these days. Though his eloquence is dangerously inclining towards absurdness, we believe. He had called actress Priyanka Chopra “Chatpati Chaat” recently. And now, he has addressed Shah Rukh as “Hyderabadi Biryani”!



The alleged Shah Rukh Khan-Priyanka Chopra affair had prompted an array of strong reactions from the whole of the film industry. Since the two did not comment over their so called “affair”, mutual friends were pestered to comment over the matter. And Karan Johar was the natural choice to be asked from. He was reportedly miffed with Priyanka since he is very good friends with SRK’s wife Gauri Khan. He has apparently also banned Priyanka from appearing on his famous chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’ this season. But now, it seems that all of them have buried the hatchet finally. At a recent public event, Karan Johar had called Priyanka Chopra a “spirited, lively, Punjabi Kudi”, and those words do not sound to have come out from a foe’s mouth.



Now, whatever may be the case, we have not understood what Karan Johar means by his recent remarks about the two stars. We wish we knew though.
