After garnering loads of appreciation for her acting prowess all these years, Preity Zinta has turned to scriptwriting now.

Dimple-cheeked actress has co-scripted her forthcoming film 'Ishq in Paris'. Touted to be an original script, the movie was initially rumored to be an imitation of films like Sunrise, Sunset and Family Man, which according to the actress is untrue. It is an original scripted commercial Hindi film and also cannot be labeled as an Indo-French film.

This is the first time that Preity has tried her hands at story writing. But, she isn’t the first actor to do so as Salman Khan began the trend of actors reinventing careers in writing with 'Veer'. Aamir Khan too lately has joined the bandwagon as he will be co-writing the script for wife Kiran Rao along with Nuzhat (Mansoor’s sister) and Mansoor (Khan, his director cousin).

Preity Zinta has shown her calibre both as an actress and a business woman and when it comes to dedication and toughness, there is no Bollywood lady like Miss Zinta. As Preity Zinta works on her debut production ‘Ishq in Paris’, she faced harsh climatic conditions as low as minus 21 degrees Celsius along with the French and Indian crew members.
Ishq in Paris is an Indo-French venture directed by Prem Soni. Preity plays the role of a a half-Indian half-French girl who finds her love in Paris. She has already completed the first schedule of the film and says that she enjoyed every bit of the shoot.
Here is what Preity tweeted on her social networking site, “I’d like to thank the French crew for all their effort and hard work and all the wonderful fans who came to the shoot and were so co-operative! Big thank you to Indian crew for shooting in -21 degrees and never complaining. Its amazing how we don’t realise our own toughness sometimes! Ting.”

After a long gap, we will see Preity Zinta in her debut production, Ishq In Paris. The actress is done with the first schedule of the film and says that she enjoyed every bit of the shoot, shooting with the French and Indian crew in temperatures as low as minus 21 degrees Celsius.

Preity posted on her Twitter page. “I’d like to thank the French crew for all their effort and hard work and all the wonderful fans who came to the shoot and were so co-operative! Big thank you to Indian crew for shooting in -21 degrees and never complaining. Its amazing how we don’t realise our own toughness sometimes! Ting.”

Directed by Prem Soni, “Ishq In Paris” is an Indo-French production. Preity will be essaying the role of a half-Indian half-French girl who falls in love in Paris.

Junior B writes Santoshi a 50 lac cheque!

While there may not be many movies in his kitty, but still it seems like Abhishek Bachchan is in no mood to sign on the dotted line. Furthermore, he has returned the signing amount that he had received for Raj Kumar Santoshi's movie 'Ladies and Gentlemen'.

The movie was set to be a platform for Abhishek and Aishwarya to star together after a long time, but unfortunately they have to wait a bit longer now. Apparently, Raj Kumar Santoshi asked Abhishek Bachchan to return the signing amount, which was Rs 25 lac each for the couple, as the film might not see the light of the day any soon. And, the reason was Aishwarya's untimely pregnancy, which has resulted in the movie getting stalled even before going on floors.

According to reports, Raj Kumar Santoshi went over to the Bachchan bungalow to collect the amount. And Abhishek did not make any fuss at all, and signed him a Rs 50 lac cheque on the spot without making him wait. Santoshi has confirmed the news and says that he would make his next movie with that amount.

It should be reminded that when Aishwarya had got pregnant, Santoshi had said, "The fact that Aishwarya and Abhishek are going to be parents is far more important than my film. The role will no longer suit her." Reportedly, Preity Zinta was approached to fill in Aishwarya's boots but she, being a close friend of Bachchans, refused.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. And filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi must have been in a real fix. To recover the money that he had already given the Jr Bachchan and his wife for his film Ladies and Gentlemen, Santoshi did not rely on mere letters or even film governing bodies. Media has learnt that Santoshi went knocking at the Bachchan residence to get his money back.

Santoshi was spotted coming out of Jalsa last week. Inquiries said that Santoshi had paid Rs 25 lakh each to Abhishek and Aishwarya for his film Ladies and Gentleman. However, the film couldn’t take off because of Aishwarya's pregnancy. According to a source close to the filmmaker, to recover his lost money, Santoshi went to Abhishek’s bungalow and even though the Bachchans were not amused, Abhishek didn’t keep him waiting and returned the signing amount.

Confirming that he has received his Rs 50 lakh signing amount for Ladies and Gentleman, Santoshi said, “But I will make a new film with them, perhaps next year.”

Ladies and Gentleman was supposed to go on floors in July 2011 in which Aishwarya was supposed to play the lead. When the actress was pregnant, Santoshi had said, “The fact that Aishwarya and Abhishek are going to be parents is far more important than my film. The role will no longer suit her.”

According to reports, Preity Zinta was approached to step into Aishwarya’s shoes. Zinta being a good friend expressed her inclination to star opposite her Jhoom Barabar Jhoom co-star. However, due to various reasons Santoshi decided not to pursue with the film altogether

We are all aware that the dimple queen Preity Zinta is shooting for her latest film Ishq In Paris. Well, the actress was surrounded by fans on Valentine’s Day, clicking her pics and circulating them all around the internet. Preity requests them not to prematurely leak pictures taken on the sets.

“Busy day at work on Valentine’s but guess what … Met some wonderful fans, got tonnes of roses and had a great day at work! Ting Perfect. One humble request to all my fans … Please come and see the shoot, take as many photos you want but pls Dont put them on the internet as it leaks the look of the film and affects the movie negatively,” Preity posted on her Twitter page.

“When I am off set, I am more than happy to take photos … As long as you keep them for yourself! Otherwise I am very happy to see all you eager beavers on set ))) Hope it is not too much for me to ask you guys??? What say you?” she added.
