The latest buzz doing rounds in Bollywood circles is that Director Karan Malhotra who won many an accolade for his direction in his debut film Agneepath earlier this year, is planning to cast Shahrukh and Sanjay together in a film.

Contrary to reports that Karan Malhotra is making sequel to "Agneepath", he is ready with fresh subject and wants to cast none other than Dharma Productions' favorite Shahrukh Khan. He wants to cast Sanjay Dutt along with SRK for this film who starred in his debut film as Kaancha.

This will be first time that Sanjay Dutt will share screen space with SRK as except guest appearance in "Om Shanti Om" they never appeared together on silver screen

Film is said to be an action drama and should go on floor early next year. There were reports that SRK is no more favorite star of Dharma Productions but Karan Johar rubbishes all that. Shahrukh will be starring in two upcoming projects of Dharma and these will be announced shortly. One will be directed by Karan Malhotra and other one will be helmed by Karan Johar himself.

There are some rumors that suggest that the film will be a remake of Bollywood blockbuster. However, Karan Malhotra has made it clear that the film will be an original one.

Shahrukh and Sajnay known to be good friends and Shahrukh was the special guest at the Agneepath success bash thrown by Dutt earlier this year. It was in that party that the scuffle with Shirish Kunder took place.

Viewers can be highly expectant of another Bollywood bonanza from the Dharma camp as Khan and Dutt as either do not come without their own share of fans.

Who will not agree that pleasing Karan Johar is no easy thing especially when it comes to work. The star producer is so particular about small things that matching up to his expectations is no cake walk by any stretch of imagination.

Karan Johar chooses his actors carefully. If a star has done him a good turn, he makes sure that he is repaid in every possible way. Sanjay Dutt, it seems, has become quite a favourite with KJo after his stellar performance as Kancha Cheena in ‘Agneepath’, 2012’s first big hit. Sanjay Dutt's stupendous performance as Kancha cheena has earned him standing ovation and filmmaker Karan Johar was very much impressed with his acting.

Now, Sanjay has been offered the role of an investigative cop in Dharma Productions’ next film to be directed by Rensil D’Silva who earlier made ‘Kurbaan’. Incidentally, Anil Kapoor had been signed on to play this role.

According to reports, Sanjay heard the script last week and agreed to do it not only because he liked his role but also because he couldn’t say no to Karan. Anil, sources say, had been roped but he opted out because he felt it was a repetitive role. He is playing a policeman in Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Shootout at Wadala’. The buzz though is that the actor found his role wasn’t substantial enough, especially when compared to Emraan Hashmi's in the film which is about a cop hunting down Emraan and his gang.

Rensil D'Silva, who urgently needed a 40-plus superstar, personally requested KJo to step in and bail him out of the tight spot. That’s when Karan approached Dutt, who immediately said yes.

Actor Ajay Devgan's upcoming move "Son of Sardar" directed by Ashwini Dheer is progressing at brisk pace. The comic caper, which stars Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla, is currently being shot in Patiala. The movie has been in news since the shoot has started.

The cast and crew of the movie is in Patiala at present and will be there for a month. Model turned actor Arjan Bajwa is also a part of this comedy flick. The trip to Patiala however doesn't seem to be quite pleasant for the two of them.

Actors Ajay Devgn and Arjan Bajwa are down with stomach infection.

A source close to the film said, "Both the actors Ajay and Arjan have been sick for sometime following a stomach infection which might have been triggered by some food poisoning."

Both Ajay Devgn and Arjan Bajwa who suffered from food poisoning over the weekend are taking antibiotics for the same. Though their co-stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Tanuja also consumed the stuff, nothing happened to them. We surely hope that the actors get well soon.

Son Of Sardar is an upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy film directed by Ashwani Dhir, and produced by Ajay Devgn's home production house. The film features Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. The distribution rights of the movie are bought by UTV Pictures. The film is reportedly inspired from the Telugu film Maryada Ramanna. The film is scheduled for release on November 30, 2012.

Jacqueline Fernandez gets offer from Hollywood

Srilankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez had a dream debut with legend Amitabh Bachchan and veteran actors Sanjay Dutt and Ritesh Dutt as co-stars in a fantasy flick, Aladdin. Recently she became hot property after her Murder 2 became a hit.

Jacqueline Fernandez is has been on a roll ever since her last release Murder 2 hit the jackpot at the box office. With films like "Housefull 2" and 'Race 2' and 'Total Dhamaal' she is set to give a tough competition to her comtemporories. Her relationship with director Sajid Khan has also fetched her a lot of attention in the last few months.

Now the latest buzz is that the former Miss Sri Lanka has been reportedly approached by debutant director James Simpson for a Hollywood film. Simpson's previous credits include the Al Pacino starrer 'Merchant of Venice.' Titled 'Definition of Fear', the film will have Jacqueline in a pivotal role and will be shot in Canada, UK and New York. It is likely to go on floors in the next couple of months.

While Jacqueline is not willing to share more details about her Hollywood plans, her career is definitely on the upswing. Let's just hope it doesn't turn out to be like Mallika Sherawat's international career!

With the nominations coming in for this year’s Ghanta Awards, we have some surprising news for the fans of the biggest superstars of Bollywood: Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn. Ghanta Awards are the Indian equivalent of the Hollywood Razzie Awards where the worst films of the year are awarded in good humour.

Ghanta Awards started to be handed out two years ago, when Karan Anshuman thought that it would be shame if Bollywood did not have a provision to award the bad movies, given the amount of rubbish it produces each year. This year’s awards have got some distinguished nominees to boast of. In the ‘Worst Actor’ category, we have Salman Khan to start off for his acting in ‘Ready’ and ‘Bodyguard’, his arch rival Shah Rukh Khan is nominated for his take in ‘Ra.One’ and ‘Don 2’. Ajay Devgn is another superstar in the lineup for ‘Singham’ and ‘Rascals’. Sanjay Dutt has found a place in the list there for ‘Rascals’, and Vinay Pathak rounds up the nominations with his irritating acting in ‘Bheja Fry 2’.

Well, there are a host of other nominations in the offing which may have been hugely successful at the Box-Office window, but we have to admit that their quality was questionable. Unless Bollywood comes up with original good ideas for their movies, Ghanta Awards will continue taking a dig at it each year.

Salman Khan refused to host ‘Bigg Boss’ season 6

It is a very disheartening news for Salman Khan and 'Bigg Boss' fans. He will no longer host controversial reality TV show Bigg Boss season 6. Salman Khan is very busy with his films and has no time to host the sixth season. ans in the fourth and fifth season but has opted out of the sixth season due to hectic schedule. However, there is no official confirmation on the same from the channel officials.

In the last season of ‘Bigg Boss’, Salman Khan was joined by his friend Sanjay Dutt and both charmed the audience with their jokes and charisma. Sallu wants Sanju to host the sixth season of the show.

Earlier there was news that the duo would co-host the 6th season of the show but now buzz is that, Salman might not be a part of ‘Bigg Boss’. ‘Dabangg’ star has asked his friend Sanjay to take charge as the host of the show but didn’t disclosed any reason.

Salman's name was dragged by contestant into various controversies. It was said that Salman showed favoritism with contestant Mahak Chahal which is why she remained in the show till the final episode. Another contestant Shakti Kapoor also spit venom against Salman after he was evicted out of the house. Actor Pooja Bedi, who also participated in the reality show, spoke against Salman after the show got over. She was kept away from the grand finale.

All these unnecessary controversy might have led Salman to decide not to host the 6th edition.

Says the source, “Salman feels Sanjay Dutt is doing a fine job on the show, and the TRPs show no substantial decline when Salman is not around. So yes, the possibility of letting Sanjay Dutt take over the anchoring of the next season of Bigg Boss completely is now being considered, though again Sanju’s schedules are water-tight too.”

Salman Khan has also approached the makers to sign Sanjay Dutt and the channel left the decision to Salman and Sanjay Dutt.

Says the source, “Sanjay Dutt was brought in to deflect from Salman’s unavailability.Now whether Sanjay Dutt will take over the show completely is a decision that the channel needs to take in the light of both the actors’ workload in 2012.”
