Manisha Koirala to return to Bollywood

Mumbai: The latest about the milky and gorgeous babe of Bollywood who has vanished away from the scene, Manisha Koirala is that she is making her comeback to the filmdom. Koirala’s acting skills are still acknowledged and were adored till the time she stayed on the film’s scene. She is a marvelous actress – there is absolutely no doubt about it. Manisha is still known for her blockbuster movies such as Saudagar, 1942: A Love Story, Bombay and Dil Se.

When asked about the films, she signed for her comeback, she said that she would make the announcement later as she did not know when her directors or producer would declare them in media. But she nonetheless revealed that she signed three films so far. Manisha said that she was going to meet more filmmakers to okay the script. She depicted she had many offers in hands but was considering carefully which to choose from.

She says that this year (2012) she will be enacting the films and next year (2013) would be her actually comeback as they are released at that time. This Nepali ravishing beauty had made her Bollywood debut with Subhash Ghai’s superhit Saudagar in 1991. The film had ignited the box office and masses simply loved this romantic and emotional saga that also starred the legendary icons of Hindi cinema Dilip Kumar and late Raj Kumar. The songs of the movie too got super popular and were hummable. ‘Imli Ka Bota’ was the pick of the lot.

After giving many successful hits in her career, Manisha, 42, then was featured in low budgeted films later in her career as Paisa Vasool (2004) and Sirf (2008) apart from other box office duds. Recently there were reports that Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming film ‘Herone’ starring Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal is based on the life of Manisha Koirala. Madhur however denies it but when asked Manisha, she says he knows her better to make a film on.

Katrina Kaif takes personal interest in SRK’s flick!

Looks like Katrina Kaif is following Aamir Khan’s footsteps. We hear that, just like aamir, the actress too is showing personal interest in her upcoming Yash Chopra’s untitled film. She has taken the responsibility of styling herself for the film.

Says a source: “Katrina feels she’s understood the character so well that she’s taking it on herself to go out and shop for the clothes, accessories and other trinkets for her character. Katrina knows London very well and knows from where to get the stuff she needs”.

Katrina Kaif’s spokesperson is quoted as saying: “She (Katrina) personally has been shopping for accessories and clothes for the film. Katrina has envisioned her character and knows that she is the only one who can do justice to it. The song they are currently shooting in London will make other romantic songs in the industry sound and look mediocre.”

Katrina Kaif and Shahrukh Khan will be seen together for the first time in Yash Chopra’s untitled flick. The film also stars Anushka Sharma

‘Housefull 2′ in troubled waters over ‘Anarkali’

Followign the trend of the present times, we often see objections being raised against certain scenes or songs in upcoming films. Recently Rahman's Hosanna song from "Ek Deewana Tha" make headlines for its controversial lyrics. Now Sajid Nadiadwala’s forthcoming film "Housefull 2" Hit song number 'Anarkali Disco Chali…' has landed in trouble with the lyrics used in the song.

It's been said that the Maharashtra wing of the NGO, Bharatiya Bhrashtachar Nivaran Sanstha has raised objections against the item song, 'Anarkali Disco Chali... '

The reason behind this objection is that the NGO feels the line, 'Oye hoye chod chaad ke apne Saleem ki gali, Anarkali disco chali... ' from the song could have a negative impact on children as it spreads wrong information and distorts history.

The Maharashtra President of the NGO, Sameer Rai, says that Saleem, according to the Indian history, is the son of Mughal emperor Akbar, while the song makes you wonder why Saleem stayed in a gali (passage) or why Anarkali (Saleem's love interest according to history) went to a disco. Sameer plans to file a PIL against the song on Monday, once the court opens after a three-day break.

Earlier Sameer tried to talk with Producer Sajid,but his phone was hanged up many time.Now he is planing to file a PIL against the song on Monday.

"Before filing the case on Monday, we will send a legal notice to Nadiadwala. We want the lyrics of Anarkali… to be changed or else we will request the court to stop the release. We can’t allow people to misrepresent our past."Rai Says.

Anarkali disco Chali..., is filmed in a nightclub and stars Malaika Arora Khan, Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh among others dancing to it.The film releases on April 5.
